Create Livebox TV User

How to Create a User on the Livebox TV?   A User in the  Livebox  TV can be created in either way- the user itself can register through the Livebox TV signup portal or the admin can also manually create a user by giving the user’s credentials. To manually create your user, Go to “Users” from the navigation menu. In “User” click the “Add User” option. Enter your username, Email, set password, and phone number. Then give “Submit”. If the user registers using the signup portal, then the user gets added to your user’s list from where you can subscribe the user to your  Livebox  TV. This is how the mail looks. The mail provides you a link to your interface along with your log in details. Click on the link so to enter your access page. 

Instacast Encoder Device Activation

To activate your   Livebox  Instacast encoder device, Email your  Device ID  and  Hardware Key  to the IVB7 support team. The IVB7 support team, in turn, will send you the License Key. Now access the device interface on your browser. Note:   To access the Instacast Encoder device on your browser, you can use your  Device IP  along with the port URL ( :3978 ) provided by the IVB7 team. E.g.,  127.0.0.1:3978 Enter the provided License Key on the License Key bar and click Save. And your device will be activated. So, you can start live  streaming  using the Instacast Encoder device.

How to do Broadcasting from Streamer DJ Account?  Go on the Air with the  Live Radio app !  You can now connect the  Live  Radio app to the  BUTT streaming software  for real-time radio broadcasting. (BUTT is a multi-operating system client broadcaster. The software is compatible with Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.)To start your live radio broadcasting, Install the  Live Radio  app from the  Livebox App Store . Create your Radio Station. Create a  Streamer/DJ  account on the Live Radio app.  (If required you can also add a music playlist to your station.) Make sure that you have enabled your IceCast Port on the  Live Radio app ‘s ‘Settings’. Select the ‘Station’ to which you are broadcasting and set the IceCast port. How to Broadcast on Website/Blog Using the Livebox Streaming Server?

Under  Manage Channels , you can record, transcode and also MBR (Multi-Bitrate) streaming. Create your channel in  Livebox. Stream a source to your channel using the RTMP URL of the same channel with the help of an encoder. Preview your live streaming on your  Channel Dashboard . Now go to  Manage channels  and select your live streaming channel. Then click  Embed code  to copy the displayed embed code.  Note:   If your site is secured i.e. HTTPs encrypted (SSL encrypted), then you have to copy the  Secure Embed Code . If your site isn’t secure or the SSL certificate validity is over,  it will be indicated “Not secure” on the URL tab of your server. So, if your site is not secure, then you can go on with the normal  Embed code . Now login to your broadcasting website/blog, and copy-paste the embed code of your channel on the web page of your site/blog. How to Conduct the Speed Test on Livebox?

To check the performance speed of your   live streaming   server you can follow the simple steps given below: Go to the navigation menu and select  System . A Speed Test page opens, where click Start on the screen to start the speed test.  On the speed test page, click on the  Go  button. The speed test starts and you will get your server’s  download  and  upload speed  results. (Livebox does not only check the server’s speed but also its own internet and receiver’s speed). Let us now take a look at the  service monitor , Go to  Service Monitor  under  Systems  from the navigation menu. On this screen, you will be able to see all the service names, statuses and their actions where you can Stop, Start or Restart any service you want. The Livebox internet server has a constant speed of 1000 which will make sure that you get a high-quality video.Happy to help!

  Webpage Live Streaming Live  streaming of webpages can be carried out on social media destinations, streaming platforms, websites, blogs or any RTMP servers by the  Livebox Autostream  feature. When it comes to the  webpage live streaming , it is useful to live stream the subscribers/viewers count or the countdown timings before starting a live streaming event. To live stream a webpage, Go to Livebox Autostream. Click on the “Create” button. Then on the Playlist creating options, select  Webpage streaming . In the Webpage URL option, enter the URL of the webpage that you want to capture and live stream on your preferred destinations. Then under the “General Settings”, enter Playlist name, then Streaming URL of your destination, select a preset, set buffer size and resolution, then finally click the “Play” button. How to Enable HTTPS Redirection of Your Domain?

  When your domain isn’t SSL encrypted, it is possible for intruders to access your server through HTTP redirection i.e, Not Secure mode. So to secure you domain, you can now enable the HTTPS redirection of your server domain based on your preference. So to force all your server URLs to HTTPS redirection, you have to  Turn On HTTPS Redirection  option given on the Livebox  HTTP settings . To Turn On HTTPS Redirection settings, Note:    You can always change your server password for your security in the future, which we recommend too. First make sure whether you have enabled  SSL encryption  for your domain server. How to Create a Video Conference App on Livebox?

To create a video conference mobile app, Go to the  Livebox   App Store . Install the  APK Builde r app. Click the “Create an App” button under the  Livebox Video Conference  specification. Give a name for your app, then enter the display name and app description. Then browse and set your app icon and logo. Then finally click on the “Generate App”. Your app creation process begins and when it says at the end like “Click the below” button to download APK ,  click on the “Download APK” button. The app gets downloaded to your PC downloads in the zip file format. So, extract the file. In the unzipped file, you can use the “Testing.apk” to test the app on your device and “Release.apk” to upload your app to the play store.
